Butterflies have arrived!

What is more delicate and summery than butterflies? I have been thinking for a long time to take my children to a butterfly center. It is faschinating to watch how they flutter from flower to flower, seemingly simply enjoying their route.

Today we just received the Clayuex butterfly collection. My 2 1/2year old daughter exclaimed: "L want this, and this, and THIS!! L want..."

I hope that you've had a lovely Valentine's Day. My husband surprised me today, after 10+ years together, he seems to have got the hang of it all and I have received both a beautiful bouquet of roses, a pretty box of chocolate and he cooked me dinner. (!)

I have been busy loading brand new Summer stock into our store all day. First up is Baby Boy's wear by our new Danish quality brand Molo. Funky, colourful stars and stripes for your little Valentine.

Signs of Spring

The past week's weather doesn't exactly raise my hope for spring. A week ago, driving my son to a birthday party, I drove past a blossoming tree. Yeay, spring is here, I thought to myself. But the past few days of bitterly cold wind and the TV weather forcaster talking about arctic weather has made me think differently. Wolly hats and mittens are still very essential pieces of equipment on trips to the playground.

A sure sign of spring, though is the arrival of Summer stock. We have just received our first Emile et Rose Summer delivery.
